I think there are 2 reasons why it feels this way: 1. Parts of the drawing that are supposed to be the main focus and are located on the same level (e.g. her hair is next to her face as well as the dress) are blurred when they should be sharp. Things that are close to us should be also sharper unless they are really close, e.g. her hand and elbow shouldn't be blurred. I assume that her face should be the main focus so I would expect more details there as well as hair. 2. The values are also partly off. The shadow her arm drops suggests that she is under strong light but it is not reflected in the rest of the shading, some shadows are even missing (dress -> chest) The dress and lights in the back steal all the focus. Rule of the thumb: our attention is always directed towards the brightest spot on the drawing so use light colors with intent. I changed the values a bit to put more focus on her face and make lights in the back less prominent. It is a cool drawing, just needed a bit of tweaks. | Artwod Feedback
