There are countless ways to paint hair just like there are styles. I would suggest finding an artist who's style you enjoy and study how they draw hair in detail. You already got good colors. I think what would help you (and it is independent of style) is understanding that hair follows a form, just like everything else. Straight hair for example is sort of like fabric that falls around sphere that is head. You should shade it accordingly once you decided on the source of light. In your examples it seems like light comes all sort of angles hence why it may appear a bit flat. For practice, try to shade basic shapes like sphere as well as blocking out shapes from real life references - it would help you to understand hair better. | Artwod Feedback
