Hi there! I’m not a professional, but I can offer some help. I highly recommend using references for absolutely every pose—real human references, whether from photos or direct observation. Try copying several references to get the idea; ten or more is even better. Don't copy like a printer; instead, simplify the forms: the head can be a circle or rectangle, the torso a square, the arms and legs cylinders, and so on. I also recommend copying 3D models and rotating them; there are some great free ones available online. But what I recommend *most* is doing 30-second poses. Force yourself not to copy line-for-line and instead truly understand the form. Once you can copy a pose in 30 seconds in a reasonably convincing way, you can increase the time to add more detail. (They can be stick figures; that doesn't matter—the goal is to capture the essence of the pose and make it look human within those 30 seconds.) For feet, you can start by drawing a circle for the ankle and then a triangle attached to it for the rest of the foot. | Artwod Feedback
