First and foremost, apologies for the long wait. Secondly, congratulations for reaching the end of the portrait beginner road ! It's not an easy one and I'm pretty sure you saw huge differences between the beginning and the end of the module. What I mostly notice on your drawing is that consistency is lacking a bit. You got the mouth right and I really appreciate the front view of the face as it is very clear, readable and balance. You just missing the ears in here. For the other view it's a bit more nuanced. You have proportion issue that mostly shows on the main head shape (the brain part and the main mass of the head) as well ast the lenght between eyes, nose, and mouth. I would suggest you redo the exercice but this time, help yourself with straight lines so you have landmark to check on. The more you'll do it, the comfortable you'll get and the less you will need those landmarks. Last but not least, I would recommand you to always try and take the best picture of your work. Straigh in front of the paper with a mid light and no shadows. (so try and find a nice spot that doesn't change too much during the day in order to take as much photos of your work as you want without too much changes) Light the scene if necessary. I hope this feedback will be relevant though late. Don't hesistate to reach me if you have any questions. Cheers ! | Artwod Feedback
